Top pick: #9 (BERNIE THE MAESTRO) - Professional stalker is at home on either turf or dirt and has been working nothing but "bullets" for the past month as trainer Marty Wolfson prepares him for his first start since Feb. 28. Draws a nice post for the distance and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Paizano) - Speedball finished a strong pace-setting second last out at this trip and effort was the best of his six-race career. Has a stalking gear if necessary and he's a logical selection and contender.
3rd pick: #5 (My Charming Clyde) - Busy runner has started 11 times (4-3-0) since his debut at Delaware last June and his last two starts have been his best. Speed/stalker is in great shape and has run well twice at this tricky 7 furlong distance. Contender.
4th pick: #7 (Honor in Peace) - Working fast, he's displayed good talent in the past, and he's in a winning barn (Wesley Ward). Expecting him to be competitive in this spot.
