Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (MOON EYES) (7-2) - Filly is stretching out beyond seven furlongs for the first time. She enters off a series of troubled grass sprints and has been competitive in four of five doing so. She had a solid half-mile breeze April 18, and Irad Ortiz, Jr. is back aboard this 4yo for only the second time. I give her a slim edge.
2nd pick: #10 (Karenina) (5-2) - She's finished 2nd in three of her last four, all for a bit higher claiming price. Stalker has one win in 25 starts on the grass, but has finished 2nd or 3rd a total of 15 times. A serious win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Magic River) (6-1) - 4yo had a very wide trip when beaten just over seven lengths at this tag April 10. She was only a long 'neck' behind 'Karenina' in her previous start, but was seven behind her March 7. She must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (Henny's Treasure) (9-2) - Filly has absolutely no early speed, but has rallied strongly to check in 3rd in two of her last three. Home bred is capable of factoring, but will need a fast and/or contested pace to have a shot at winning this.
