She finished third in both starts there, one each on grass and 'poly' and has been training fast at Palm Meadows for her return. From an underrated barn (Josie Carroll) and it's noted that John Velazquez is aboard.
2nd pick: #2 (Reggae Song) (7-2) - Grey filly set a quick and pressured pace and held strongly to miss by a head going a mile here at this level Mach 13. She's worked fast since and I almost made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #4 (Royal Rose) (7-2) - Mare has talent, but her career has been highlighted by layoffs. Five-year-old was only beaten four lengths racing here at this level and distance Feb 19. It was her first since Nov 5 and she had some traffic issues that afternoon. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Charlevoix) (8-1) - Away since April 11 of 2015, she's been scratched a couple of times at this meet awaiting the right spot. Speed/stalker is a factor if ready if she stays in.
