#3 BLUE BIRD DAY (4/1) 4 yo filly returned from layup with big maiden score at the end of last season winning by six while adding blinkers. Was well beaten next out after blowing the turn and following that race was moved to the barn of trainer Mike Pino. Turned in even effort sprinting here last out in first try for new connections but look for winning performance today stretching back out two turns while dropping in class which is winning move for Pino over 30% of the time. Elliott back in the irons is only a plus.
