Strong finisher was sharp in all three starts here last winter and is nicely spotted by Bill Mott in this starter-allowance ($35K level).
2nd pick: #3 (Armchair Jockey) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, he rallied strongly to miss by a length here at this level Jan. 2. It was his first start in 2.5 months, and he may have won if not for some serious traffic issues in mid-stretch. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Ty Ran a Homer) (10-1) - Longshot has good early speed and had a lot of traffic issues when finishing 4.5 lengths in back of 'Armchair Jockey' here at this level Jan. 2. He had been sharp in four of five prior to that and is capable of factoring today at a big price.
4th pick: #2 (Toupha) (5-1) - He rallied while wide to finish a half-length behind 'Armchair Jockey' and in front of 'Ty Ran a Homer' here Jan. 2. Steady sort may grab a share with a late run.
