Four of her last five works are way above average, and she's from the barn of Chad Brown (20% first out). She has the rail, Javier Castellano aboard, and she gets a slim edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Ready and Rich) (6-1) - A busy son of 'Super Saver', he's finished 2nd in six of nine starts on the dirt and is racing on the grass for the first time. He has sharp early speed, and I expect him to be involved every step at a square price.
3rd pick: #8 (Candy Crushem) (9-2) - A lightly raced colt, he's moving up a bit in class after rallying to finish 3rd here for a $75,000 claiming price Feb. 1. It was his first race since Aug. 24, and he had trouble at the break and right before the finish. It's noted that John Velazquez is aboard for this attempt.
4th pick: #3 (Game Day Decision) (6-1) - Unraced since Nov. 24, he showed some ability in two starts during the Fall in Kentucky, and this grey colt has a fine series of works at the Palm Meadows Center on view for his return.
