Top pick: #5 (ALMA D) - Very impressive maiden win here on January 15th. Making his first start in almost two months, and first for trainer Richard Dutrow, he tracked the pace going a mile, took over when asked, and drew away to a five-length win. He has a pair of sharp works since, and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (More Than Willing) - The only runner entered to have a win at this nine-furlong distance, and he did it on this surface, in his last start. Draws the rail and could have a lot more improvement in him.
3rd pick: #8 (Dunkirk) - Son of "Unbridled's Song" cost a cool $3,700,000 at auction and was very impressive in his debut, rallying from far back to win going away racing at seven furlongs. We'll find out a lot more about him today. One of two from trainer Todd Pletcher, and they'll race uncoupled.
