Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (REGAN'S ODYSSEY) (3-1) - Very consistent veteran mare has gone 6-1-4-1 since coming off a two-month break Sept. 20. She finished second here at this level and distance Jan. 17 and runs first off an Aubrey Maragh claim ( 5 of 14 36%) with that move in the past 13 months. She gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #9 (Dynatown) (2-1) - A lightly raced and well-bred filly, she stretches out in distance after rallying strongly to miss by a 'neck' here at this level going 5 furlongs Jan. 6. It was a career best, it came off a two-month break, and she's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Hera) (7-2) - She was a bit 'hard to handle' last out but raced well after settling to finish 3.5 lengths in back of 'Regan's Odyssey'. It was her first since Oc.t 8 and only her second dating back to late July. She has early sped and leading rider Luis Saez is back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #7 (Una Luna) (3-1) - On the sidelines since Nov. 2, she closed fast to be only 2 lengths in back of 'Regan's Odyssey' that afternoon. A 4yo filly, she's made up ground late in six straight starts and Irad Ortiz Jr. is aboard for the first time.
