Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (BAIL OUT) (7-2) - Bred and owned by the Phipps family, colt rallied to miss by a 'nose' going nine furlongs at this level Oct. 10 at Keeneland. He has a nice series of works showing for this attempt and gets a slight edge today.
2nd pick: #9 (Preacher Power) (3-1) - Very sharp in three straight on the grass, he missed by a 'head' at this level and distance Oct. 24 at Keeneland. It was his first race since early April and he's a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Freedom Matters) (6-1) - Colt has finished 2nd in four of five starts on the dirt and is racing on the grass for the first time. He has sharp early speed and is dangerous if he gets an uncontested lead in the first half-mile.
4th pick: #6 (Divide) (8-1) - He missed by a 'nose' here March 17, but ran very poorly in a pair of follow up starts. On the sidelines since May 25, he's working steadily for Todd Pletcher (a strong 32% off of long absences), and the presence of Luis Saez is noted.
5th pick: #3 (Clear for Action) (10-1) - Stretch out sprinter ships from Woodbine where he's finished 2nd in a pair of sprints on the all-weather main track. On the grass for the first time, he's bred for turf success, and may factor here at a big price.
