2nd pick: #2 (Tap Tap Taparoo) (9-2) - Daughter of 'Tapit' is lightly raced and runs today off almost a 12 week freshening. $250K purchase was a sharp maiden winner sprinting on the Saratoga turf Aug 19, then tired while wide in her follow up at this level Oct 3 at Belmont Park. Stretch runner fits and is a win candidate from her ground saving post.
3rd pick: #8 (Curluck) (7-2) - Canadian invader runs of a 7 week break and a trainer change to Jay Servis (a strong 38% winning angle). Daughter of 'Curlin' has raced four times on the Woodbine turf and her two best efforts have come in sprints. She has a flexible style, fits, and trainer Servis, 6 for 12 at the meet has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard.
4th pick: #7 (Lena Marie) (6-1) - Very lightly raced daughter of 'Paynter' tired at this level going 8.5 furlongs on the Keeneland grass Oct 10. However, it was her first start since Dec 24 of last year and she most likely need the race. Working fast for this attempt, she must be left in the mix.
