She had a tough outside post (12th of 12), but made a big sweeping move on the far turn to score by two lengths. In the barn of Chad Brown, she gets a slight edge here.
2nd pick: #3 (Thewayiam) (5-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's won two stakes in a row at this meet, and last out scored in the G3 Sweetest Chant going a mile Feb. 3. An obvious win candidate, jockey Jose Ortiz (who had other options) stays aboard.
3rd pick: #2 (My Favorite Gift) (12-1) - $300,000 daughter of 'Tapit' is the main speed and breaks just off the rail. She tired late to finish three lengths in back of 'Thewayiam' last out, but should be in this every step at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Amertume) (7-2) - Another daughter of 'Tapit,' she rallied to win here when debuting at this distance Jan. 27. She had some traffic issues and raced a bit greenly, but still managed to get the job done. In the Pletcher barn, she must be left in the mix.
