In his previous start, he missed by a 'head' at Laurel and I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Love Sick Kitten) (5-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, he's been competitive many times facing tougher and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. A 4yo colt by 'Kitten's Joy', he has a ground-saving post, positive experience at this demanding 9-furlong distance, and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Divide) (4-1) - A disappointing $300,000 son of 'Flatter', no speed type is another dropping into a claimer for the first time. That's a very strong move by trainer Todd Pletcher (21 of 43 {49%} and he has Javier Castellano aboard. He made up some ground here facing tougher Dec. 23 and that was his first race in 7 months. In the mix.
4th pick: #5 (Crime Lab) (12-1) - A 5yo son of 'Tiznow' he showed good early speed before tiring here just 12 days ago. It was his first race in 16 months and think he can be involved every step at a square price.
