Top pick: #10 (WISECRACKER) (7-5) - Godolphin home bred finished a distant second when debuting here going 7-furlongs on Jan. 24. The winner "Khozan" came right back to score another good looking win this past Sunday. Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin stretches him out to a mile and son of 'Distorted Humor' draws a perfect outside post. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Ulysses) (8-1) - One of two making their debuts for trainer Chad Brown and the pair race uncoupled. Earlier in the meet Brown had a pair of first-time-starters win at this difficult trip. This colt by "Street Cry" cost $350K and has been in steady training at Palm Meadows since mid-January.
3rd pick: #7 (Unbridled Juan) (9-2) - Well backed at the windows when debuting here on Feb. 7, he rallied to finish third going 6-furlongs. Grey son of "Unbridled's Song" didn't have the best of trips that day so the effort was encouraging. Trainer Brian Lynch ads Lasix and stretches him out in distance. Dangerous in this spot.
4th pick: #5 (Seeking Alpha) (6-1) - The second of the Brown pair, he appears to have worked in tandem with "Ulysses" three straight time and finished ahead of that stable-mate in a 5-furlong gate breeze at Palm Meadows on Feb. 14.
