Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (HER LATEST FILM) (4-1) - I liked her last out, but she ran a bit 'hard to handle,' and was wide for the final half-mile. Beaten by only 3.5 lengths, she races second back from a two-month break and gets a big rider upgrade to Javier Csatellano.
2nd pick: #7 (Blame the Gods) (9-2) - A lightly raced 4yo daughter of 'Blame,' she's been competitive in both starts at this meet. She has more early speed than most, has Luis Saez back on the re-ride, and should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #10 (Plans to Prosper) (5-1) - This nicely bred filly hasn't raced since tiring while 'head strong' July 21 at this level at Saratoga. A 4yo by 'Kitten's Joy,' she has a new trainer (Dale Romans), is working very fast at Palm Meadows, and is a major threat today if ready off the 6.5-month stint on the sidelines.
4th pick: #8 (I Wonder) (12-1) - Longshot raced evenly while wide when beaten just 2.5 lengths here at this level Jan. 1. It was a positive effort from a tough post (11 of 11), she draws better today, and has worked twice since.
