Succession (#7) has won 4 of 12 career races while racing in Europe and debuts on Friday for turf specialist, Cristophe Clement. This filly adds Lasix today and is the class of this allowance field as she's already won a listed stakes and defeated the boys. Only knock is that she's entering off a 5 month layoff, but Clement wins at a 24% clip with horses racing with a 61 to 180 day rest.

Pommes Frites (#6) loves this Gulfstream turf course, which she's won 2 of her previous 3 starts on. This Bill Mott trainee has the best tactical speed and should be on the lead right out of the gate.

High Court (#5) hasn't won since 2004, however, she's taking a solid class drop into this allowance event after racing mostly against Graded Stakes company. Look for her to be closing late for a piece of the action.

Omeya (#3) has only won twice during her 2005-2006 campaign, but she's hit the board in 4 of those 5 races for trainer John Shepard. Closer almost ran down the formidable Asti in her last race and a repeat of that effort puts her in the hunt on Friday.

The Play: Exacta Box 3-5-6-7 ($12). Key #7 for first and second in the Trifecta by using 7 with 3-5-6 with All ($15) and 3-5-6 with 7 with ALL ($15).
Note: Ticket totals based on $1 wagers.
