2nd pick: #1 (Nightstrings) (6-1) - Another price play, he moves back to the grass following a second place finish at this level going 6.5 furlongs on the dirt March 9. He has early speed, draws the rail, and he should be involved from gate-to-wire at a square price.
3rd pick: #6 (Salsa Jack) (9-5) - The probable heavy favorite, he had some serious traffic issues when finishing a rallying third here at this level and distance when debuting Feb. 16. Trainer Saffie Joseph has won with 7-of-13 (54%) maidens making their second start and this 3-year-old is an obvious win candidate at a very short price.
4th pick: #9 (Striking Heir) (4-1) - Colt has early speed, is racing third back off a two month break, and is trying the grass and a two-turn distance both for the first time. Bred for the changes, he has Irad Ortiz Jr. back on the re-ride.
