Top pick: #4 (SPANISH ART) - Son of the late "El Prado" rallied late here to finish a close-up second going a mile on Feb. 11. Race was his first in 8 1/2 months and he has a pair of srap drills since. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Cheyenne Nation) - Expensive ($220,000) son of "Gulch" finished a cllose-up fourth when debuting just under a year ago on this surface. Training well at Palm Meadows for his return and he gets the addition of blinkers. Win threat if ready.
3rd pick: #6 (Tisnow Julie) - He makes his first start for trainer Pete Walder (a 27% winning angle) and does so off a two month layoff (a 39% angle). Working fast as new barn runs him on the grass for the first time. Contender.
4th pick: #9 (Ambergris Caye) - Well-backed at the windows in his first pair son of "Dynaformer" finished an even third when debuting at Tampa and then tired after chasing a solid pace from a poor post (11) here on Jan. 16. Freshened-up since he's been working at Palm Meadows like he'll return a better horse.
