2nd pick: #3 (Linburgh's Kitten) (8-1) - Long shot raced very wide before weakening late racing at this tag Feb. 9. It was his first since Oct. 27 and he had a very tough outside post (12th of 12). He's worked since, draws a much better starting slot, and is a win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #6 (Discovered) (9-2) - Fair Grounds shipper tired badly there Feb. 13 facing tougher. Colt was racing for the first time since Oct. 29 and may have needed the effort. Competitive in all three previous grass races, trainer Mark Casse drops him into a claimer and he has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard.
4th pick: #8 (Victor Lounge) (5-1) - Irish import set a solid pace before tiring very late to finish third here at this level Feb. 9. A career best, it was his first since being claimed for $25,000 by trainer Dan Gargan here Dec. 23. Must be left in the mix.
