Top pick: #3 (PRIMA STORM) (2-1) - The probable favorite, colt has run well 3-0-1-2 in each appearance, all coming on the turf. Freshened up since late Nov., he finished 3rd of 11, beaten a length here at this level and distance that afternoon. Working well for his return, home bred by "Stormy Atlantic" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Bonnie Breeze) (6-1) - The field's only filly, she hasn't raced since late June. Stalker has finished second in five of six starts here at this level and distance, all against her own sex. She'll need to be very sharp off the long layoff for any shot at beating "Prima Storm."
3rd pick: #2 (Pinhook) (15-1) - He's tired badly in all three starts and has been freshened up since Jan. 24. He does have early speed, some fine works showing, and this will be his first grass sprint. Longshot possibilities.
4th pick: #6 (Secret Fortune) (7-2) - Colt hasn't run since June 20th at Belmont when he was eased, going 9-furlongs on the dirt. He had finished second in his previous start in an off the turf sprint. Training well above average at Palm Meadows for his return and can factor if ready.
