Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (BARBADOS KITTEN) (8-5) - Mare tried hard, but had to settle for the place spot here to a gate-to-wire winner at this tag and trip Jan. 15. It was her second back from a pair of layoffs, and it's nice to see this 5yo by 'Kitten's Joy' stringing starts together. She'll be very tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #7 (Chilled Milk) (5-1) - Lightly raced 4yo has been idle since finishing 2nd, twice last fall at Woodbine. One of those was in a grass sprint Oct. 7, and this daughter of the grass loving 'Artie Schiller' is dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #8 (Ladrona) (7-2) - $120,000 daughter of 'Bodemeister' hasn't raced since last spring. Both starts at that time were against much tougher, and she had trouble at the start in each. Trainer Brian Lynch has her working steadily and drops her way down in class. A major player if ready.
4th pick: #1 (Mo's Ginny) (4-1) - She rallied late after saving ground to finish 3rd, almost three lengths in back of 'Barbados Kitten' here Jan. 15. She has the rail and is capable of factoring with a bit of improvement.
