2nd pick: #9 (Bunnell) (3-1) - One of two debuting fillies, she's in a good barn (Wesley Ward) and he has her training sharply locally. Trainer is having a solid meet and is more than capable first out. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Zamarata) (4-1) - Grey filly has gone 9-0-2-3 since dropping down under $20K in price. One-run type rallied to finish second last out and "nosed" "My Money Rider" out of the place spot. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #6 (Papa Dolce) (6-1) - She took some money when debuting here at this level Dec. 7. Filly made up some ground in the stretch after being taken back early on. Race looked like an educational one and the barn adds blinkers for this attempt.
5th pick: #7 (Berry Blitz) (20-1) - Longshot has a bit of speed and is cutting back in distance. It's noted that filly has been bet several times and she may have more ability than shown to date.
