Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (STUNTING) (2-1) - This filly has finished in all three starts and has done so twice here at this level going 8.5 furlongs. From the Pletcher barn, she draws a much better post than in that pair, has a flexible style, and is cutting back to a mile. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #1 (I Thee Wed) (8-1) - This filly is one of two entered by Bill Mott, and they race as separate betting interests. A debuting daughter of 'Hard Spun', she has some fast works showing from the Payson Park Center, has the rail, and Mott's main rider Junior Alvarado is aboard.
3rd pick: #10 (Mimina's Dream) (7-2) - A $110K daughter of 'Uncle Mo,' she's been sharp in both turf starts and was only a 1/2-length behind 'Stunting' Dec. 29. Filly has a flexible style and is an obvious contender.
4th pick: #9 (Pearlescent) (10-1) - The second of the Mott trained pair, she raced evenly after being bumped at the break when debuting July 14 at Saratoga. On the sidelines since, this homebred by 'The Factor' is training steadily and may factor at long odds if ready.
5th pick: #2 (Lipstikliesnlovers) (10-1) - She made up some ground in her grass debut here in January, but she has been far behind in the early stages of both attempts. She may get a minor award here, but she would need a very fast and/or contested pace for anything more than that.
