2nd pick: #3 (More Alex) (5-1) - He's been away slowly in three of his five starts, but was very sharp in the pair when he broke alertly. $120,000 gelding by 'More Than Ready' is racing second back of a 3.5 month layoff and John Velazquez is back aboard following a one race absence.
3rd pick: #8 (Collateral Kitten) (5-2) - Ramsey home bred missed by a 'neck' here Jan 12 in his first since Oct. 27 and first ever in a claimer. It matched his career best figure and he's an obvious win candidate and the probable favorite.
4th pick: #1 (John's Approval) (15-1) - Longshot has the best early speed and he breaks from the rail. He's dropping in class, stretches out in distance, and will take them as far as he can at a big price.
