Trainer Todd Pletcher will stretch him out in distance (a 35% winning move) and the barn wins at that same percentage second-time out.
2nd pick: #1 (Saint Viguer) (6-1) - He's finished second in two of his three starts including his latest, Nov. 11 at Aqueduct going a mile on the dirt against a strong field. Freshened up since then, trainer Chad Brown has his training well at Palm Meadows and blinkers will go on for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Wabbajack) (5-1) - Colt finished a close-up third here at this level going a mile on Jan. 5 and the second-place runner returned to break his maiden next out. He's worked three times since and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Dyker Beach) (6-1) - Son of "Curlin" rallied into a fast pace to just miss here at this level going a mile on Jan. 5. Solid effort was by far his best yet and a repeat of it makes him a threat.
