Top pick: #8 (VINDICAT) - Colt by the late "Vindication" was set up well by his barn (Nick Zito) last out at this level. Runner had problems at the start, and was forced to rush up before tiring to finish a distant fourth. Wins this with a "clean" break.
2nd pick: #9 (Mr. Unitas ) - Drops into a claimer for the first time and will shorten-up in distance. He ran well in his debut at Philly Park sprinting, then did little in his Gulfstream debut travelling nine furlongs in a race won by "Saratoga Sinner". Nice drill on Feb. 2. Price play.
3rd pick: #13 (Translucent Sky) - He finished second locally on Jan. 23, at this distance racing for $20,000. Race was his best to date, and his connections move him up in price. Needs a scratch to run.
4th pick: #12 (Love On a Wire ) - No speed runner rallied late to finish a distant third at this level and distance On Jan. 18. Race was his first in two months, and he should run better off of it.
