Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (CAPTAIN KITT) (4-1) - Gelding had serious traffic issues last out at the head of the stretch. Race was his second in Florida after shipping from New York and he had lost by only a 'neck' in his previous start. One-run type draws a ground saving post and trainer Mark Vitali has won five races here in the past two weeks.
2nd pick: #2 (Dino Dude) (9-2) - Speedy sort moves back to the grass after missing by a 1/2 length here going a mile on the dirt facing weaker Dec. 15. It was the fifth straight start that he's finished in the place spot with the previous four coming on the turf. Win candidate, gelding should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #5 (Admiral's Cove) (5-2) - New York invader tames a big drop in his first since Nov. 9. He tired last out at Aqueduct for a $40K tag, but had finished within range in three straight prior to that. He has the best overall figures and is an obvious contender at a short price.
4th pick: #6 (Family Justice) (5-1) - Long time maiden has early speed and enters off a close up finish here at this tag Dec. 17. He's been beaten by 'Dino Dude' several times, but a pair of those were by small margins.
