2nd pick: #4 (Feed Me Carats) (7-2) - Another shipping down from the NYRA circuit, filly has good early speed and is working steadily at Palm Meadows for her first since Oct. 15. Good barn (Jeremiah Englehart) drops her to a new low and has leading rider Luis Saez aboard. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Double Cabernet) (9-2) - Speed/stalker doubles up in price following a pair of back-to-back second place finishes for an $8,000 claiming price. Much improved since moving to the barn of Pete Walder and she must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (Degrees of Freedom) (20-1) - Longshot appears to be racing into shape after coming back from a four month layoff Dec. 14. She was much improved here Dec. 14 and this 4-year-old had races during the first half of this year that make her a late threat at a big price if repeatable.
