Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (FAST FRACTION) (7-2) - Filly finished a pace-prompting second here at this tag going a mile Dec. 5. It was a hue improvement and came off a drop in class and with the addition of blinkers. I give her a small edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Wicked Solution) (2-1) - A home bred from the high quality operation of Ken and Sarah Ramsey, she ran evenly in both starts early in the Fall facing tougher in Kentucky. Freshened up since Oct. 25, trainer Mike Maker drops her into a claimer, a 22% winning move by him in 2018-19. This filly is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Gea) (10-1) - Longshot raced extremely when finishing 4.5 lengths in back of 'Fast Fraction' Dec. 5. She's had outside posts in her last pair, draws much better, and runs with blinkers on.
4th pick: #10 (La Flamenca) (12-1) - She set a quick and pressured pace and held gamely to miss by a 'neck' here at this tag going a mile Nov. 30. It was a fine effort and it's noted that trainer Marcial Navarro has leading rider Jaramillo aboard for the first time.
5th pick: #1 (Josefa) (10-1) - Filly raced evenly debuting in a grass sprint at this tag Dec. 11. Trainer Tony Sano brings her back quickly, stretches her out, and she has the rail.
