2nd pick: #2 (Unconquered Lea) (4-1) - Colt is working very fast for his debut at the Palm Meadows Center since Nov 11. He worked a bullet half-mile there in :48 flat Dec 14 which was the best of 88 at the distance that morning. It's noted that the small barn of Ben Perkins Jr. has Luis Saez aboard.
3rd pick: #1 (Carpe Omnious) (3-1) - One of two entered by Todd Pletcher and the pair race as separate betting interests. This debuting son of 'Carpe Diem' sold for $550,000 as a yearling back in Sep of 2018. Pletcher has won with 69 of 300 (30%) with debuting runners in 2018-19 and this colt has been in steady and frequent training at the Palm Beach Downs Center since mid-November.
