Top pick: #4 (SKYBLUEANDBLACK) (7-2) - Stalker has finished 2nd in four of her last five starts and all have been on the turf at this tag. Daughter of "Scat Daddy" is an obvious pick but make sure you reverse your exactas for a small amount.
2nd pick: #9 (Quarla) (2-1) - Once promising filly has been freshened up since late October and that start came off a similar layoff. She's been competitive several times in the past on the turf facing tougher and is a major player with her "A" game.
3rd pick: #5 (Sweet Miri) (5-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, she's racing third back from a 7-week break and catches a field without a lot of other pace on view. Thinks she'll be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #7 (Mzdancer) (15-1) - No speed type rallied to finish 3rd last out but was 3 1/2 lengths back of "Skyblueandblack". Competitive in most of her recent races, she'll need a fast/and or contested pace for anything more than a minor award.
5th pick: #10 (Ansiedad) (20-1) - "Nibbling" type exits a contest where she was forced to race wide after breaking from a tough outside post. She draws another rough starting slot but runs with Lasix added and may get a small slice at a big price.
