He'll be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Ellis Island) (7-2) - One of two entered by Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Colt by 'Will Take Charge' rallied to finish 3rd debuting here at seven furlongs Feb. 22. Working steadily at the Palm Beach Downs facility, Pletcher wins at a 25% clip second time out and 22% on the stretch out in distance.
3rd pick: #4 (Fried Rice King) (5-1) - The second of the Pletcher trained pair, he rallied from far back to finish 4th of 12, beaten by six lengths debuting here at a mile Feb. 29. Bred and owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, this son of 'Bernardini' enters off a bullet half-mile work March 14 and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Or'effice) (6-1) - Blinkers go on this $725,000 son of 'Medaglia d'Oro' after he missed by a 1/2-length going nine furlongs here in an 'off the turf' contest Feb. 15. He has some speed, breaks just off the rail, and is a contender.
