Top pick: #1 (BULL DOZER) (6-1) - Trainer Mike Maker has pulled this off before, claiming a runner in top form, moving him into a stakes, and getting a victory. This very consistent 4-year-old has a great pverall record (27-11-2-6) and was a sharp looking winner here at this trip on Dec. 7 the day he was claimed. Has the rail, a stalking style, and there's plenty of speed to give him a nice set up.
2nd pick: #4 (Action Andy) (6-5) - He's really stepped ip up over the past year winning six sprint stakes and last out was an easy winner at Tampa Bay Downs on Dec. 8 as he repeated in the "Pelican" stakes. Obvious win candidate and I would have been comfortable making him the top choice.
