Her latest two victories have been on the grass, including an easy score here in a $100K stakes on Jan. 3. Freshened up since, she has early speed and breaks from the rail.
4th pick: #4 (Pine Needles) (8-1) - Daughter of "Giant's Causeway" went wire-to-wire to win her debut here on Jan. 1. Home-bred did so at the difficult distant of 1 1/8th miles on the grass. Trainer Chris Clement moves her way up for this while adding Lasix.
