2nd pick: #1 (Ami's Flatter) (3-1) - Very lightly-raced, he's always had talent and was a sharp winner here going 7-furlongs in an entry-level allowance Jan 13. It earned him the highest figure any of these has ever run and it came following a half-year's absence. He's worked fast twice since and could win this if he avoids a possible bounce.
3rd pick: #5 (Stanford) (6-1) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Speedy and lightly-raced, son of 'Malibu Moon' is training fast at Palm Beach Downs for his first since July 31. He's gone 3-2-1-0 racing fresh in the past and is a threat at a square price.
4th pick: #3 (Tommy Macho) (5-2) - The second of the Pletcher pair, stretch runner was an easy winner of the G3 Discovery Hdcp. Nov 11 at Aqueduct. Colt finished second as the favorite there Dec 19 in the Queen's County and shipped south soon after that. Fits with his best, is working above average, and must be left in the mix.
