Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (TEN SEVENTY) (7-2) - Well bred filly raced evenly after hitting the rail when debuting here at this claiming price Feb 19. Working well at Payson Park since then, trainer Chris Clement (19% second time out) gives her a rider upgrade to Julian Leparoux and this daughter of 'More Than Ready' can cause a mild upset.
2nd pick: #3 (Por Favor) (9-5) - The probable heavy favorite, daughter of 'Scat Daddy' has finished second here in both starts since dropping into claimers. Speed/stalker is lightly raced, improving, and trainer Ed Kenneally has J.J. Castellano aboard for the first time. An obvious strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (City Section) (10-1) - Even-paced type enters off a pair of starts where she finished well within range of the winner. However, 'Por Favor' handled her easily Jan 10. At this point, without a major step forward, I believe a small slice at a big price is her ceiling.
4th pick: #7 (Queenofthechannel) (4-1) - Trainer Todd Pletcher has had a phenomenal meet at 59 for 241 (24%). He sends out this first-time starter by turf champ 'English Channel' off of some average works at Palm Beach Downs. Can factor if ready.
