Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (POLISHED COPPER) (5-1) - Price play runs third back following almost a 4.5-month layoff and first off a Dave Fawkes claim. She stalked, bid, then tired to miss by 4.5 lengths here for a $25K tag Feb. 21 and I like that Fawkes brings her back quickly and I think she has a good shot at 5-1 or better.
2nd pick: #3 (A Beautiful Day) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, she set the pace and held to finish second while 2.5 lengths in front of 'Polished Copper' here Feb. 21. It was only her second start, first on the grass, and this homebred filly is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Fancified) (9-2) - Even-paced filly is dropping down in price, switches from dirt to grass, and is stretching out in distance. Competitive in her last pair sprinting here for a $50K tag, she's a major factor if able to handle the surface change.
