It was his first since June 19 and the effort was complimented when the winner scored again next out. A strong win candidate with leading rider Irad Ortiz Jr signed on.
3rd pick: #6 (Bebeau) (7-2) - He's the main speed and this $400K gelding by 'Bernardini' finished second here at this tag Jan. 16. In his follow up Feb. 21, he tired to finish fourth after setting a solid and pressured pace and was just a length behind 'Sir Chubby'. He must be left in the win mix.
