Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (SOUPER CATCH) (7-2) - Live Oak home bred has won two in a row facing weaker, but looked very impressive when he scored by almost 10 lengths here going a mile Dec. 21. Lightly raced, he's moving up in class, and is stretching out around two-turns. I like his chances.
2nd pick: #5 (Carlino) (2-1) - Another that's lightly raced, he ships from New York where he raced both wide and evenly at this level going a mile at Aqueduct Dec. 10. Training well above average, speed/stalker is a threat with his best.
3rd pick: #4 (Adulation) (9-2) - Speed/stalker has talent but faces a tough assignment in his first start around two-turns. Competitive in two straight sprints at this level in Kentucky, he's bred for this longer trip.
4th pick: #6 (Iconic) (5-2) - He's raced nine times, seven on the grass and twice on the dirt. The two on the main track were his best, and they were both at this distance. The trainer (Dale Romans) and jockey (Luis Saez) combination has won four times here during the past seven racing days.
