Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (MAKEALITTLEMISCHIEF) (4-1) - A $125K purchase, she has good early speed and finished a troubled fourth here at this level and distance Dec. 27. It was her first since debuting May 13 and she's worked fast since and is brought back on a quick turnaround by trainer Todd Pletcher.
2nd pick: #1 (C R Perfeck Candy) (3-1) - A home bred daughter of 'Sidney's Candy', she finished fourth of 12, beaten 4.5 lengths when debuting at 6 furlongs on a sloppy track at Churchill Downs Nov. 1. It was a solid first attempt and trainer Dale Romans (20% second time out) stretches her out in distance (25%).
3rd pick: #3 (Tapit's Princess) (9-2) - This daughter of 'Tapit' sold for $500,000 as a 2yo in training last March. Owned and trained by veteran Happy Alter, she tired when debuting here in a sprint Dec. 22. She's worked very fast twice since and Halter has leading rider Luis Saez taking over the riding chores.
4th pick: #8 (Web O'Gold) (5-1) - Blinkers go on this daughter of 'Hard Spun' who has finished second in five of her six starts. She has a stalking style, an experience edge on the other contenders, and must be left in the mix.
