3rd pick: #5 (Sky D) (8-1) - He's been on the sidelines for the past two months and runs today for Vic Barboza Jr who had him earlier in his career. Longshot raced well here on the grass Oct. 21 and this well-bred 3yo is capable of factoring at a big price.
4th pick: #8 (Smooth As) (6-1) - This colt didn't want to enter the gate and then had an awkward start when debuting here for a $25K tag Jan. 27. He raced both wide and evenly once in stride and goes today fresh following a Lupe Preciado claim. New barn adds blinkers and gives him a big rider upgrade.
