Top pick: #2 (LUCKY FOR YOU) (2-1) - Filly comes off a solid second-place finish here going a mile on Jan. 17 and trainer Todd Pletcher has worked this $310K yearling by "Medaglia D'Oro" twice since then. Speed/stalker breaks just off the rail and she should love this two-turn trip.
2nd pick: #4 (Mei Ling) (3-1) - Freshened up since early fall, filly finished second in back-to-back starts at Belmont at that time going a mile. Daughter of "Empire Maker" is working steadily at Palm Meadows and she's run well from both on and odd the pace.
3rd pick: #7 (Quilt) (5-2) - Tough call as Claiborne home-bred hasn't seen action since missing by a "head" when debuting at Saratoga going 6-furlongs July 31st. Working fast at Payson Park and "Hall of Famer" Bill Mott adds blinkers.
4th pick: #5 (Lollobrigida) (10-1) - Filly tired when dsebuting here on a sloppy track going a mile Jan. 29. Trainer Marty Wolfson has worked her since and has won with three of his last nine second-time starters.
