Top pick: #8 (KISSIMMEE TWICE) (3-1) - Daughter of "Indian Charlie" cost $275K as a "weanling" back in 2011 and made her debut here on March 16. She broke slowly, but recovered to chase a fast pace and held gamely to finish third of 13, beaten almost four lengths. Well-backed that day, "Live Oak" filly can take this with an alert getaway.
2nd pick: #4 (Hide My Heart) (7-2) - Filly by turf champ "Artie Schiller" ran well in both starts last fall at Belmont, and has been on the sidelines since Oct. 13th. She has a new trainer (Marty Wolfson 28% with new arrivals), and she's been working sharply on this surface for her return.
3rd pick: #2 (Love You Loads) (5-2) - Grey daughter of "Giant's Causeway" rallied to finish third when debuting here on Jan. 12th. However, she tired in her second start on March 2 after chasing the quick pace of a talented winner ("Bridled Heiress"). Working fine and she should be involved every step from her inside post.
