Top pick: #2 (DEVIL'S CAVE) (2-1) - She enters off a career best when she went gate-to-wire in winning the local "Sabin" stakes (G2) going 8.5-furlongs on Feb. 16. Fast from the gate, she breaks just off the rail and should handle this bit longer trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Triple Arch) (6-1) - Lightly-raced filly chased "Devil'S Cave" from the start to the head of the stretch before wewkening to finish third in the "Sabin." Lastet saw her set a quick and pressured pace before weakening in the G2 "Honey Fox" on the turf. Can factor at a square price with her best.
3rd pick: #7 (Call Pat) (8-1) - Filly ships in from Oaklawn where she went 3-1-2-0 facing cheaper. Stalker has a new trainer (Jorge Navarro) for her local debut and he wins at an excellent 40% rate with new arrivals. Saez presence is duly noted.
4th pick: #1 (Oasis At Midnight) (15-1) - No-speed type stretches out in distance after rallying from far back to defeat weaker here going a one-turn mile on March 13th. In shape, and the quicker the pace, the better her prospects. A minor award may be her ceiling.
