Top pick: #3 (HOUSE RULES) (4-1) - Filly has been freshened up since winning a small stakes here at this distance on Jan. 2. Strong finisher has improved noticeably since being switched to the barn of Jimmy Jerkens. Four-year-old is working well at Palm Meadows and Castellano (who is three for four on her) is back aboard.
2nd pick: #2 (Wedding Toast) (2-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, she won a small 7-furlong stakes here going 7 furlongs on Jan. 7. It was her first race back off a nine month layoff and she ran the distance in very fast time (1:22 flat). Always highly thought of and she's been working fast for this. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Got Lucky) (3-1) - She rallied to defeater weaker here at this distance Jan. 15. It was her first since early October and ran her record at this trip to 3-2-1-0. Another that's working fast and she's from the Pletcher barn.
4th pick: #4 (Thank You Marylou) (5-2) - She closed out her 2014 campaign by going 4-1-0-3 is Graded stakes. All were at 7-furlongs on the dirt. Strong finisher would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
