Top pick: #4 (GIANT CATS EYE) (3-1) - Lightly raced and well-bred, filly has been freshened up since Aug. 10th when she was an easy winner at Monmouth over weaker. That was her first for trainer Ed Plesa, Jr., and he has her training sharply at Palm Meadows for her return to action.
2nd pick: #2 (Arriba Anna) (2-1) - One of two entered by the high percentage barn of Marty Wolfson, she ships from Calder where she ran a career best over weaker on Oct. 12th. That was her first ever on the dirt, and she's training fast for this assignment.
3rd pick: #6 (Lexington Pearl) (5-1) - The second of the Wolfson pair, eight-time winner has won on turf, dirt, and "poly" during her 25 race career, and is racing second back from an 80 day freshening. She's won here in the past on the main-track, and this is her favorite distance (8-3-1-2). In the win mix.
4th pick: #1 (Wild Eyed Wonder) (8-1) - Very lightly raced 3yo, she was a winner here last out at this distance facing weaker. That came in her second off a private trainer change to Steve DiMauro and a three month layoff. She meets much tougher, but the "figure" earned that day makes her a threat if repeatable.
