She had lost by a 1/2-length under similar conditions Jan. 1, is dropping to a new low in price for this one, and Irad Ortiz, Jr. climbs aboard for this attempt.
2nd pick: #5 (Garner State Park) (5-2) - The possible favorite, she's finished 2nd and 3rd in both starts at this tag going a mile. Owned and trained by Todd Pletcher, she's lost by less than two lengths each of those attempts and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Couple of Nikkis) (8-1) - Longshot drops down after missing by just over five lengths facing tougher April 12. The home-bred stumbled at the break that afternoon and fits nicely here with this group at a big price and with a better beginning.
4th pick: #10 (Veer) (6-1) - Lightly raced filly drops after missing by 1.5 lengths here for a $25K tag on April 3. It was her first in a claimer, a positive effort, and she's worked twice since. In the mix.
