Purchased for $140,000 last Spring as a 2yo in training, she's had tough outside posts in both attempts and draws much better in this small field. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #2 (Royal Meghan) (3-1) - Competitive in both starts, last out she rallied from close range to finish second at this level and distance Feb. 16. Stalker has worked since and is in the mix.
3rd pick: #4 (Don't Eatthe Apple) (6-1) - One of two entered by Ralph Nicks and the pair race uncoupled. Speedy filly tired badly last out after setting a pressured pace and was almost 10 lengths behind 'Kashan' that afternoon. Much sharper in her first pair, home bred may hold on much better in this small group.
