2nd pick: #2 (Leading West) (4-1) - He rallied to miss by a 'head' here at this level and distance Dec 7 in his first start since Sept 22 and first on the grass. A son of 'Distorted Humor' he has a ground-saving post and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #8 (Bee Catcher) (5-1) - Calumet homebred had traffic issues when finishing almost 3 lengths in back of 'Leading West' here Dec 7. Colt had finished 2nd in his prior start at Keeneland and is adding blinkers for this attempt. A fast/and or contested pace would help his chances out.
4th pick: #3 (Tapage) (15-1) - A Godolphin homebred by 'Tapit', he's only been competitive once in four starts on the dirt and is racing on grass for the first time. Colt has breezed three times on the turf at the Palm Meadows Center, the latest a sharp half-mile Jan 11. He may get a share at a big price.
