2nd pick: #1 (Peart) (7-2) - She had no chance at Aqueduct Dec. 3 when facing tougher from a difficult outside post (11th of 12). Trainer Brian Lynch drops her into a claimer for the first time, she moves to the rail, and Javier Castellano is aboard. Filly worked a bullet half-mile on the Palm Meadows turf Dec. 17 and Lunch has won with three-of-eight (38%) maidens taking this particular drop.
3rd pick: #10 (Tiz a Kitten) (8-1) - Ramsey home bred is another taking the drop into claimers for the first time. Well backed in both starts on the NYRA circuit, daughter of 'Kitten's Joy' can factor at a square price if able to avoid a wide trip from her outside post.
4th pick: #7 (Antoaneta) (9-2) - She moves up in class in her first following a Reid Nagle claim (29%). She missed by less than a length when racing for a $35K claiming price Dec. 18 and it was a career best overall. Must be left in the mix.
