Top pick: #7 (J B'S UNC) (5-2) - In shape veteran moves up in class after a trio (3-1-1-1) sharp efforts at this meet. Stalker draws a nice outside post at this distance and that will give his rider some early options. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Broome Street) (4-1) - Beautifully-bred gelding has gone 4-2-1-0 here since mid-December and in his lone poor effort he was facing much tougher. Strong finisher comes off a big "figure" win on Feb. 13 and a repeat of it makes him a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Political Justice) (6-1) - Speedy veteran was a gate-to-wire winner here at this trip when facing weaker on Jan. 30, then tired late on Feb. 14 after setting a swift pace going 7-furlongs. Fits with his best and at one time he had a stalking gear.
4th pick: #6 (Moe Man) (3-1) - Stakes winner last August at Canterbury Downs, he runs for the first time since Nov. 17 and has been especially sharp in the past when at, or around this claiming tag. Must be left in the mix.
